7.5 Sulawesi Indonesian Earthquake

The usgs has reported a preliminary magnitude at 7.5 earthquake in Indonesia, at a shallow depth of about 13 miles beneath the sea. It was centered 54 miles from Gorantalo, an Indonesian town on the island of Sulawesi. A tsunami warning report was issued immediately, but was later recalled. No reports of casualties or damage have been received.
