Cold War

Dunno if anyone remembers a little thing called the Cold War, it was that stuff that pretty much Destroyed the World for a couple decades:

Cold War (Kholodnaya voyna), 1947–1991: The Cold War – the Berlin Blockade (1948–1949), the Korean War (1950–1953), the Berlin Crisis of 1961, the Vietnam War (1959–1975), the Cuban Missile Crisis (1962), the Soviet war in Afghanistan (1979–1989), and the Able Archer 83 NATO exercises in November 1983. Both sides sought détente to relieve political tensions and deter direct military attack, which would probably guarantee their mutual assured destruction with nuclear weapons. [link]

And finally, decades later, someone with a sense of history gives a great expression to the voice/POV of every little-person who was ever chewed up and spit out by the advocates of such destructive thought models, (prisoners punishing other prisoners?). Note to self: these tropes are clearly endemic to all areas of culture, race, rights, law, relationships… power. however, its a wonder whether highlighting the relationship power struggle to achieve real change is really viable. It’d be great if there was a more direct connection between experiencing emotional pawn realities in a sandboxed art/music context, and changing things out there in the real world… either way, its a moment in time. (crosses fingers).

Of course, the point may already be moot: it will be hard to see any message at all, as the Advertisements Layar, ala the Adocracy, is already obscuring the actual video. Thanks, D-EVO! and good luck bringing about change with that… even this blog your reading here has sold out for operating costs. The horizontal, the vertical… will evil win?
