destroying the ability of literary magazines to survive? the plethora and permeation of mass culture by domain sites like del.icio.us and trashbat.co.ck et al are making it difficult to write contemporary literature without resorting to such a destruction of the basic conjunctive glue. I recently was on the review panel of a literary magazine for which nearly a third of the submissions involved such devious polysyndeton tonic.. er, polysyndetontonic, polysyndetonic contractual conjunctives. There, I quickly learned it does no good to take up the banner of syndeton, er, syndetontonic, or asyndeton, uh, asyndetontonic conjunctions in literary magazine reviews. Its a minority position.
