I saw this on yahoo answers and thought it pertinent: “I am a Christian. God does communicate with me. I am not delusional. It says He will speak to you in the Bible. He will speak to you through the Word, the Holy Spirit, and through prayer. I have a mental illness too. The pastors at my church do not, but God communicates with them regularly too.” It kinda opens up the dialog a bit.
